Hey ,its me again and am here to disturb you again with a new story(well not that new ).Today is all about an anti-hero who doesn't burn even when on a fire and he is also bonded with a demon which makes his powers hellish. Ladies and gentlemen I give you Hellfire ,am kidding, I give you Ghost Rider (i just pulled a Steve Harvey).
Ghost Rider , to begin with is more like a generic name for people who in one way or the other possess the power of hell. It is often associated with vengeance and a demon. There are three recorded Ghost Riders in the Marvel Universe ,each with their own distinctive abilities and means of transportation .
The First Ghost Rider is Johnny Blaze, a stunt motorcyclist ,who in order to save the life of his father, agreed to a deal with Satan (Mephisto) that included his soul. His first transformation was all round evil, Blaze found his flesh consumed by hellfire, causing his head to become a flaming skull, while his body still remain intact(sort of). His mode of transportation is a fiery motorcycle and he wields blasts of hellfire from his body , usually from his skeletal hands. He eventually learns he has been bonded with the demon Zarathos, which in his case means constant fighting and disagreement. It turns out that his mother was the previous Ghost Rider before him (guess it runs in the family ). Nicholas cage played this role in Ghost Rider and Ghost Rider 2 :Spirit of Vengeance
The Second Ghost Rider is Danny Ketch ,who succeeded Blaze as the Ghost Rider. After his precious sister was injured by ninja gangsters ,he was furious. He somehow came in contact with a motorcycle that had been mystically enchanted to contain the spirit of vengeance in it. Although at this time Blaze was still the Ghost Rider, who reappeared to help Danny sometimes. It was later revealed that Danny and his sister were Johnny Blaze long lost siblings (it really does run in the family). Unlike Blaze and his demon, Ketch actually bonded with his nine tail fox demon,who is revealed as Marvel's incarnation of the Angel of Death/Judgement and they were cooperative with each other.
The Third Ghost Rider is Roberto Robbie Reyes. He is the current Ghost Rider in the Marvel world. Robbie is a student working as a mechanic at an auto body shop ,who lives with his brother Gabe and seeks a means to get away from the dangerous, gang-riddled streets of East Los Angeles. To accomplish that goal, he decided to enter a street race, hoping to use the prize money of the race to move him and his brother away from his dangerous neighborhood. That dream was however cut short when he was gun down while trying to collect pills that caused the transformation of Mr. Hyde ,which Robbie didn't know. He was resurrected as the Ghost Rider . Unlike the previous Ghost Rider means of movement which was with a motorcycle, Robbie transportation was his black classic muscle car ,now similarly ablaze too. His own demon was different because it wasn't a demon, it was the ghost of a man called Eli Morrow, who was later revealed to be his estranged uncle, a satanic serial killer who kidnapped and murdered at least 37 people in rituals before being fatally shot by the police .
Each of them have abilities of the Ghost Rider with slight adjustment ,like Johnny Blaze has the penance stare which can see into your soul and make the target experience all the pain they have inflicted on someone. The same with Danny Ketch but Robbie hasn't been shown to possess the penance stare. Apart from that and their respective demons, their abilities are much the same: Immense superhuman strength , stamina, reflexes, Enchanted hellfire chain, motorcycle or car and shotgun, Penance stare, Resurrection, Immortality, Regeneration, Accelerated healing factor , Travel between inter dimensional realms and along any surface : meaning they can travel on water or a vertical surface and can take a long leap with their vehicle .
Johnny Blaze is sometimes seen as the leader because he was the first and has more experience with the weird. He was the one who saw that Eli was not who he says he is by using the penance stare and seeing that Eli was a killer and even pushed Robbie mom from the steps when she was pregnant with his brother Gabe. And Danny is said to have died but never confirmed due to Spiderman saying he is still very much alive. The three are known as Ghost Riders and have affiliations with the New Fantastic Four,The Defenders ,New Avengers and Dark Avengers .so they are not all bad.
In Marvel Agent of Shield series ,Robbie Ghost Rider is being played by Gabriel Luna and so far it is good
