My Best Game Series Of All Time

Hello everyone, how you doing ?  Yeah I know am a week late. I was supposed to post last week but didn't, i am sorry about that(i was kinda off grid at that moment) i am sorry again for last week(please accept my apologies) Today we gonna talk about my best game series of all time. Before anyone judge, note that I said "my", I know not many might agree to my list(e.g am not a fan of Halo, so don't expect to see Halo here not that Halo isn't a good game, I don't just like it) With that said , let us begin.

  •  Far Cry Series

The part 2 might not really get your attention and let us not get started on part 1 but the part 3 was something else. I love the idea that I not only had to watch for the pirates and the bad guys but also had to protect myself from animals in the jungle while simultaneously earning respect from the locals. The open world is amazing, the mode of transportation is awesome( I spent most of my time using a glider to travel ) Everything about the game is perfect , which was why I didn't waste time in get Far Cry Primal and Far Cry 4(Haven't played 5 yet) If you love adventure, open world, freedom, and killing people with some top notch weapon, then you should check out Far Cry  (start from Far Cry 3,like I said 2 and 1 weren't that eye catching to me)

  • Assassin Creed Series

I don't think you can classify yourself as a gamer if you haven't played any Assassin Creed game. The game play which is played in a third person format is lovely ,the controls and combat is cool(especially when you counter and kill the enemy) but I give more credit to the story of the game, somehow Assassin Creed makes you invested in the story of history(my favorite being Black Flag) You take on the role of an Assassin, who at first seems like he is carrying out random assassination but only later revealed that the assassination of some high value individuals are for the good of mankind ,saving man from the hands of the oppressor be it Templar's or Roman generals that wants to remove freedom from man. I love Assassin creed and you should seriously play it if you haven't, and if you have, still play it again cause it is Assassin Creed.

  • GTA (Grand Theft Auto) Series

Okay if this game is not on your list of best games then we have no business being strangers ,you should be a threat.  Ever since its inception in 1997, GTA  has gone a long way to be a game that everyone has. The game is always constantly breaking records and pushing boundaries for other game to follow. The open world is like no other(literally ,no other game has the vast size of open world GTA has) I remember getting lost a lot of time when playing it on my PlayStation 2 way back due to the large open world it had. And back then there was no taxi or shortcut,  you had to drive all the way to the other side of town for a mission, but since then i have gotten hooked on the game franchise. Whats not to like in the game?  The story line are always amazing that it makes me feel for the mob boss sometimes.  The game play good and my favorite;being able to cause rampage around the city without being caught (actually that is a lie, I always get caught or die when I have 4 stars) I like the fact that if you want your character to be good in the game, you have to work for it, I remember spending like an hour just doing exercise for my character so that he could be stronger and faster when he needed to be. I love this game plus GTA 5 made doubters of the game going down eat their words.  Till date when ever I play GTA 5 ,I get so engrossed like it is my first time playing the game.

  •  Call Of Duty Series

This game makes me feel like am a marine or special force (no disrespect)  I just love everything about the game, ranging from the campaign mode to the multi-player mode. The attention to detail in terms of the weapon is amazing, I haven't seen another game that has such knowledge of weapons and their accurate use(there might be but I haven't seen, if there is one let me know)  I actually like the modern warfare series to the black ops series( don't know why, maybe it's because it's easy to play LAN multiplayer on MW series than the BO series)   That being said, be it Black ops or Modern Warfare or Ghost or the Call of duty set in WW1 and WW11 , all of them, I repeat all of them are worth playing , I haven't seen anyone (even non gamers included)  play call of duty and didn't fall in love with the game. Even the latest Black ops 4 has seen nothing but positive reviews so far. Plus let's admit we all felt something when Soap died in MW3.

  •  Splinter Cell Series

To be honest I wasn't much of a Splinter Cell fan in my early years of gaming. I was not into games that had stealth as their focus of play( I was more of an assault kind of guy)  But 2 years ago, I got my hands on Splinter cell conviction (yeah I played conviction in 2016 sue me) and I enjoyed the game. The stealth I hated before was now what I loved the most about the game franchise, killing the bad guys without being seen, hiding in plain sight and making decisions based on the situation. It was an awesome feeling, then my friend decided to complete the transformation and gave me Splinter Cell Blacklist and that was it. I found myself playing the game again and again( I even put the game now on perfectionist for some real challenge) I have played Blacklist  several times but anytime I click on a mission,my inner Tom Fisher kicks in. The stealth I hated back then now became the thing I love about the game.

  •  FIFA Series

So far I have listed games that has something to do with killing, action and adventure that is basically who I am( it can be frustrating out there, so instead of taking my anger or misfortune out on a human being, I take it out on games using my favorite rifle; the  M416) When am not killing anybody ,I like to play  soccer and my favorite is FIFA.  PES was leading at one time but ever since FIFA 12 came out i became a FIFA fan. I love everything about FIFA ,the game play, the mechanics, the realistic nature of the game, this factors has always been what has kept me as a fan of the game. And let us not start with the master league feature of  FIFA.  I really really really enjoy playing master league on FIFA, i feel like a real coach, every of my actions has reactions and if am not careful I could end up destroying the morale of the team which can be catastrophic. The way I feel doing FIFA, I don't feel that way with PES ( I play both by the way)  FIFA makes you want to enter the game and slap a player that is misbehaving then come back to reality and continue playing.  All my magic moments and even worse moments in soccer happened  when playing FIFA and it still does. I also love the sea of information that is applied to each player. When a player is a sad or angry, there is a probability of you knowing the reason why in FIFA, in PES you never know ,you just assume. I also love injuries in FIFA, it is the spice  of the game that PES lacks( how can I play with Neymar whole season and he won't have injury in PES, while in FIFA , 2 months into the season, he will get a injury that might even sideline him for the season)  I know it sounds weird to say but injuries gives that extra kick, cause now you will be contemplating on who to buy to replace your injured players( I buy players just for reserve for when my main players have injuries in FIFA)  this hardly happens in PES and thus I don't get the kick or spice from PES.

  •  God Of War Series

Am not much of a hack and slash kind of gamer but God of war is a game worth making exception for. You play as Kratos, whose mission is basically carrying out his revenge on Greek gods. I love the game because it is challenging, this game taught me how to think, how to believe that no matter how hard it might seem, there is always a way out, you just have to keep looking till you find it.  I remember getting stuck in a place for weeks only to see that all I had to do was to think outside the box( I didn't browse out the cheat, what is the fun of playing the game when you are rushing to the finish line)  The zoom in killing of the monsters was another thing I liked seeing. The story too is captivating and is spread among three God of war games, starting from God of war:chain of Olympus on PlayStation 2 to God of war Ascension on PlayStation 3. There is a the latest one on PlayStation 4 that came out this year and you should check it out. If you are one that like easy games or easy challenges, then  honestly God of war is not for you, because you will get frustrated but if you seek adventure and action as well as hard challenges in a mythological timeline then this is the game for you. Sometimes I have to prepare myself mentally just to play the game. The puzzle in the game can be annoying but the feeling you get solving  the puzzle makes it worthy of playing ,and I guess that is why lot of people play it.

  • Naruto Game Series

I remember asking a friend for a movie to watch and he gave me Naruto, I looked at it and told him I needed a movie not a cartoon plus it was in Japanese. Out of boredom I decided to collect it from him and watch, and since then I have been a fan of the anime and the game series.  I love the game and honestly prefer it to Mortal Kombat , I like the fact I can move around when fighting instead of the traditional left and right fighting that we are use too. I like playing with friends more than playing the story mode, you get to unlock characters, costumes and so much more by just playing the battle mode, so I don't  really have a motive for diving into the story mode that much. Each game represent a story arc in the anime, so not only do you get to watch the anime, you get to fight the bad guys exactly like the anime. The graphics are awesome, the fight between the characters are cool and I like how you can use team mates in battle efficiently ( That is if you can play well)  seriously if you are to pick between Naruto game and Mortal Kombat game, I would suggest you pick Naruto.

  • Metal Gear Solid Series

Remember I said I hated stealth games, well you can count this game out too. It was the only game I didn't mind stealth, I first played it on PlayStation 2 MGS:Snake eater and I loved it, I love the cut scene that explains the story, the cut scenes looked like I was watching a movie and then playing the role of the actor in the movie. What made me love the game back then was how i almost died from a snake bite that I didn't know I had.  I just knew my life bar was decreasing and the only way I was able to stop it was by applying medicine and removing the poison. Just like that I was in, and since then I have being an avid fan of the game series. When Ground Zero came out ,I jumped on the bandwagon and played the game, and even Phantom pain still remains a masterpiece. Even if you don't like stealth games, MGS will make you be a fan.

And that is it for today , my best game series of all time. Hope you agree and if you don't, tell me why . Hope you guys enjoyed the roller coaster of games and emotions that I put you guys on.

Till next time download a game and play
