DON'T HOLD BACK YOUR LUKE CAGE

Hey ,it's me again Starlord (That would be so cool ) This week is all about the man, who apparently is unbreakable and immune to punches, puncture wounds, extreme temperature and bullets. And he also has the fighting skills of Mohammed Ali .The only thing missing from making him perfect is immortality.
This week ,i will be writing about Luke Cage, giving a brief history of the character with his power and abilities and if he is awesome or not

Carl Lucas was born in Harlem ,New York. He was troublesome during his youth ,joining a gang and committing petty crimes usually for mobsters. He also went ahead causing trouble for the rival gangs just to prove that his own gang was the best. His dreams at that time was to be a big time New York racketeer , until he saw how his action was hurting his family ,so he decided to quit and make something of himself that he would be proud of in the future. But things didn't go as planned ,he was betrayed by his supposed best friend ,who planted heroine in his bag and had him arrested for that ,making Luke to go to jail. His time in jail wasn't all that pretty too,he had an enemy who was not only was sadistic but also racist and to make matter worse ,his enemy was an officer in the prison.   There was also problem at home ,apparently he couldn't reach his father and few days later he was told of his father  "supposed death" which was all a lie orchestrated by his brother Jamie jr,who by the way have been intercepting letters sent from prison by Luke Cage to his father ,giving his reason as trying to save the family from Luke Cage.

Furious about both his condition at the prison and the death of his father ,he decided to volunteer for an experiment ,if successful would be the key to creating super soldiers. The experiment was carried out by Dr Noah Burstien ,who created the same experiment of cellular regeneration used to empower Warhawk. The experiment began but  Dr Noah left Luke unattended to go do something else ,and that is when the officer who hated him for no good reason decided to tamper with the experiment, hoping it would kill Luke in the process. Fortunately for Lucas ,the treatment accelerated past it's intended limits that include abilities such as superhuman strength ,durability and body wide enhancements. It was with this new abilities of his that he was able to escape prison. Then he decided to adopt the name Luke Cage in place of Carl Lucas  and started his career as a hero for hire ,helping anyone who can meet his price(which are reasonable)

His abilities to me is not that special but they are more than average. He possess superhuman strength and stamina with a very dense skin and muscle tissue which render him resistant to any physical injury. His resistance capabilities ranges from normal punches to high caliber bullets. He is also able to withstand biological attacks and extreme temperature that would kill an average human. The experiment also gave him regenerative abilities ,making him able to heal faster when injured. His fighting skills was awesome even before the experiment on him ,plus he is a trained martial artist under Iron fist of course ,who taught him how to use his strength to maximize his combative effectiveness when fighting stronger opponents.

Luke Cage is good ,he has fought alongside with a lot of heroes ,he has been in The Defenders,The Avengers,Thunderbolts,Hero for Hire and he was on Captain America side during the civil war. And what was  more impressive was the fact that ,he was the leader or second in command in every team he has been in. Summary of this is that he is good ,street smart and a leader. He is also a family man ,with Jessica Jones as his wife and his daughter Danielle named after his best friend Iron fist  Danny Rand. But even with his abilities I still see him as average (not to special, can be easily killed) but that is just my opinion .

Till next time be a volunteer for an experiment ,you might be the next Luke Cage(That is if you don't die first)
